ESPELHO-MÃE

2017

The "espelho-mãe" performance, which is based on Lacan, opens space for discussion about the construction of ego, identity, form and reception. This piece is performed in a white hall composed of mirrors and a inflatable pool with which the performer interacts. The actions are reflections of a growth and a search for meanings, which involve signs of the binary world: masculine and feminine.
